Positives – We finally have a new manager that most of us are exited about, seemed to take ages to happen, but in reality was quite quick, and for a while I thought they had passed Bilic by,
Negatives – None, YET, but im sure like even the best of us, there will be something and im sure the usual suspects will highlight and be crowing about them.

It's entirely possible to be excited at the prospect of Bilic but still worried that his appointment represents a risk.
Only a complete cunt would want their team to fail, purely to score points on a forum. To that end, I think the vast majority of us are united in our support for the manager and team.

Not sure why people who backed BFS would be so quick to turn on a new manager, not every is interested in point scoring.
Let's just be grateful he steadied the ship at a critical period, time to move on and unite rather than worry about who used to back who.

Yep. People may say 'sentimental nonsense' or 'it doesn't mean anything', but that Croatia team had been through things that very, very few teams ever will have (and that's a good thing, I suppose). It's the reason England struggle so often against smaller nations - when you are getting paid over 100k by your club and adored week in, week out, then as Gary Neville said quite honestly the idea of trekking to Serbia or somewhere similar in what is basically a no-win situation does become a chore. There are still countries out there to whom the idea of representing their country - or even having a country to represent - means everything. Does that automatically mean Bilic will be a success? Of course not. But you can't tell me that a bit of that spirit and experience hasn't made an impact on him. He's a fighter, and that counts for a lot when compared to someone who came out and said we shouldn't even try to win certain games.

Danny, the fact is that dissent is healthy except when it goes on and on in the nicey/fordstar way where it becomes counter productive.
Had we continued in the same vein post christmas, as in the previous half season, a lot of us would have been quite happy to see BFS get a contract renewal. He blew his opportunity imho.
